Randy Lariar is a seasoned data and analytics executive with extensive experience leading high-performing teams and driving strategic initiatives in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data science. As an advisor to Naible, Randy provides invaluable insights into AI strategy, risk management, and data governance, leveraging his vast experience across multiple industries.

Before joining Naible, Randy served as the Director of SOC Technology and AI at Optiv, where he oversaw an advisory and consulting line of business focused on data strategy, business intelligence, and data engineering. He was also Optiv’s leader on Secure AI, helping enterprises develop programs that holistically align AI with secure best practices.

Randy is also a leader of the New York City GenAI Collective organization, connecting with investors, researchers, operators, and founders in the GenAI space. Randy’s ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights has made him a trusted advisor to boards and executives, particularly in the areas of AI strategy and governance.

Before joining Optiv, Randy held significant roles at Ernst & Young and Standard & Poor’s, where he managed advanced analytics projects, developed machine learning tools, and spearheaded data integration initiatives that led to substantial cost savings and operational efficiencies. His educational background in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University, combined with his technical expertise, positions him as a key asset to Naible’s executive team.
